Sleep is so important, especially for you middle schoolers. you should be getting at least 7 hours of sleep a night, more if you are running around on the football fields or volleyball courts! Lets also make sure that we are putting the right kind of fuel in our bodies. Sugars may give us a quick energy burst, but we will hit rock bottom twice as fast when that energy rush falls apart. Proteins, fruits and veggies provide a longer lasting energy. Also make sure that you are dressing for the weather. If you have layers on, you can always peel them off, but its tough to put on layers or clothes that you don't have with you.
In short - be prepared, be smart, and you will be healthy!
