Track Season has wrapped up with our meet this past Saturday at Westosha High School - We had a great time and our athletes did a wonderful job in competing and cheering on one another. I was very proud of them and their teamwork.
We have our annual Senior Brunch this Wednesday in the morning. 7th graders will be helping out throughout the morning by serving and cooking as well as greeting and decorating the gym for our special guests.
We also begin our MAPS testing this week, so students - be sure to get a good nights sleep and a healthy breakfast to help you do your best on Thursday and Friday!
Next week is also a very busy one, with the Kindergarten Circus, Southern Lakes Anthology, and our Middle School competitors heading off to Madison for the Math Meet!!! Best of Luck, Bulldogs!
After that - and after Memorial Day (please take a moment to reflect on those who served and gave their lives and energies to keep us safe and free) - we will have the Middle School Play, 6th and 7th grade will go to Shedd Aquarium, and 8th will be heading off to SkyZone and Great America for their field trips!
We also will be having our middle school auction - anyone who has items to donate can deliver them to the front office and let one of our secretaries know that it is for the annual auction!
We will be wrapping up the year with our 8th grade graduation and recognition the first week of June and also be ending on a fun note with our annual PTO carnival.
Amidst all of this, 8th grade is studying the Civil War and Reconstruction and 7th is studying the Pacific Rim Countries.
In Science - we are studying the human body systems and health in 8th grade, 7th has been studying human impact on the world and environment around us, and 6th has been looking into the diversity of the living world!
WHEW!!!!! I know by the end of these next few weeks, we will all be ready for a little time off to prepare for the next school year!
Alright everybody - you know what we have to look forward to in the next few weeks! Lets do this!
