On a more positive note, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade have all been doing a nice job of staying on top of their homework and tests. We had a wonderful group of students compete in the school spelling bee on Wednesday, and a big Congratulations goes out to Kassie for taking 1st place and Olivia for a spectacular second place! All of our school's spellers did a fantastic job - can't wait to see it again next year!
Our Southern Lakes Anthology students also did a fantastic job this year - a large amount of entrants have been selected from our school to be published in this years anthology - well done!
I am also super proud of our WASBF students who are going to Waterford High School this Friday to work with other band students on music - so proud of all of you!
As we start working on the third quarter - for a full week - it's nice to keep in mind your student's growth from the beginning of the school year up until now. We do have conferences coming up at the end of February - only 3 short weeks away - but please come and talk with us about your student before then if you are unable to meet at that time, or just want to get together and discuss their progress thus far this year. We love what we do, and want the kids do to do their very best!
