I am planning a middle school quiz bowl featuring questions on geography, history, math, english and pop culture, along with a round of charades and pictionary worked in. It should prove good for a review and also allow our creativity to flow! Each day the groups will rotate to another teacher which means each group of 6th and 7th graders will have time to be quizzed, express themselves, and "defrost" after a rigorous week of WKCE testing!
WKCE has come and gone for 6th and 7th, but not for 8th. Our middle schoolers in 8th grade have two more days of testing, and elementary will be testing next week as well. To help keep the focus on the test and not on people or distractions, the 7th and 6th graders will be split into different groups between teachers and will do activities next week during testing time to let other students focus and do their best without the distraction of movement and voices in hallways and specials.
